Diecast Vs Models

There is a great assortment for diecast cars; you have NASCAR, Indy cars, Formula One, Production cars, Muscle cars, Sports cars, Dragster of all classes’ even vintage cars and trucks. So whatever it is that you like to collect it’s out there. There are also numbered collectors series available. A diecast car always looks good because it does not depend on your ability to build it and paint it. Most diecast cars come with its’ own unit number and a certificate to ensure production and detail quality.

Some of the better diecast cars are considered a good investment over time, especially if they are limited production and hard to obtain. If your intent is to buy the diecast for investment you should leave them in their original packaging and keep them in a safe place.

So you have lots to choose from being scale size or car style.

Now on the down side you can only have what is available, meaning what you see is what you get. You can not really modify them to make them our own.  With plastic models you also have a great selection to choose from. The  difference between models and diecast is that the models come in pieces that you have to put together and paint, so the smaller the scale the more difficult the assembly. This is where your talents are put to use, you can build a great looking model or not so great. That used to be my problem, once I started I wanted to keep going and finish it, end product was not something to show anyone. Remember it is a hobby so take your time and enjoy.
