I’ve been collecting diecast vehicles for awhile now, I started with Hot Wheels as a child then as I got older I started collecting larger muscle cars. I collected Mustangs, Camaros, and Firebirds and so on. I also collected Indy cars and Formula one, now I’m collecting NASCAR diecast vehicles. Then you will find all of the different scales you can acquire them in.

They take up a lot more room but they easier to see, maybe I’m getting older and require glasses but a story for an additional time. No matter what scale you collect they all look excellent and I’m certain that no 1 collects one scale and one scale only.

Don’t forget to get accessories for your collection; you can get vehicle lifts, figurines, toolboxes, you can get a work shop and a crew to work on your cars. And let’s make sure to keep the dust off the diecast cars with some actual nice show instances. You can place them in single display instances or a multiple wall mount display case. In the magazines you see all types of diecast cars from race vehicles to production vehicles. You can also check out your local hobby shop wherever you could possibly get a close up appear at all the different diecast vehicles. Don’t forget to ask your friends, they may be collector but just in no way talk about it.

Well by the looks from the market I would say a whole lot of individuals collect diecast vehicles. I’ve even seen them in car dealerships; they setup some real nice displays, under lock and key most times. The next time you go to your local dealers’ parts department have a great appear around and I’m certain you’ll discover them there as well.

There are different kinds of collectors; some people collect them to play with and to show off to their pals, they would be young kids obviously. Then you have the older crowd that acquire for a hobby, they might collect a particular diecast like NASCAR or muscle vehicle, etc… and some might acquire on impulse they see it, they like it, and they purchase it. It might be a race vehicle, a train, a truck, whatever they like it and they buy it. Then you will find the investors, they the acquire in hopes of making big profits down the road. They mostly buy the diecast and in no way even take them out of the box to ensure maximum profit, by getting able to say that the box has in no way been and the diecast and packaging is in mint condition.

All sorts of people acquire 1 thing or an additional, some acquire model trains which I also take pleasure in, getting that I’m a locomotive mechanic for a major North American Rail way that’s no surprise. Model planes are another largely collected item as is vintage trucks and vehicles.

Obviously they also arrive in various scales, they arrive in one:64 scale which I believe may be the smallest and up to one:18 scale which I believe may be the largest scale. I like to collect one:64 scale and one:24 scale mostly, but there’s no correct or wrong scale to acquire, they all have excellent detail. Who knows you could always turn your hobby into a business.

Hobbies can range from activities such as knitting or drawing to rebuilding computers and cars. One broad hobby that encompasses many walks of life is collecting. It is such a broad hobby because collections can be comprised of almost anything that pleases the collector. A popular collector item is cars, however, this is also a broad topic. Collectors may accumulate luxury cars, old cars to be restored, or even miniature car replicas. The latter being the most wallet friendly and easy to store makes it a very common collectible item.

If one’s interest lies with miniature cars, diecast cars will certainly be visible on their radar. More specifically, NASCAR diecast cars are often sought after by collectors. However, for the novice collector, the cost of building up a NASCAR diecast collection can be quite pricey. Some collectors argue that spending a portion of their life savings to maintain their collection robs them of their enjoyment. One option these collectors have is to seek bargains on Ebay. While some sellers may hike their prices in order to turn a large profit on the mega internet trading website, others are in it for the love of collecting. Therefore, one stands a decent chance at finding NASCAR diecast at affordable prices so that their desire of owning a collection may be satiated. So how does an inexperienced collector differentiate good deals from rip-offs?

Firstly, one must consider the specifications and features of the car before determining its value. The main specification in determining the price of diecast cars is the size, and, as most things go, bigger size means bigger price tag.

For a few reasons the 1/64 scale is an excellent way to get started collecting diecast cars: they are low-priced and easy to store. A good way to get started is to buy in bulk lots. In this way one gets a good amount of cars for a reasonable price and they can then be displayed in a case or on shelving without looking bare. If you are on the opposite end of the collector spectrum and are considering selling some or all of your cars, selling in bulk lots is also a great option. Ebay is a great place to get started buying and/or selling lots, just remember to include ample pictures and thorough descriptions in order to get the most bidders.

There are options for more savvy collectors who desire a more advanced collection. The 1/24 and 1/8 scale cars are more expensive than the 1/64 scale, but they are bigger and often have movable hoods and doors which add a realistic aspect. There are different styles of 1/24 cars such as the Sprint, Nextel, and Craftsman series. All of these series boast quality detail, but the Craftsman series is harder to find because the demand is lower than those of the other series. The 1/8 scale cars are the most expensive and are much larger than the other scales. If space is an issue, consider where you will store these models before purchasing them.

Why do we collect Nascar diecast 1 24 scale model cars? Well, there’s just something about them…

It’s not just having cool little pieces of memorabilia to show off, it’s more like… You know when you were a kid, there was probably some other kid in your class who always bragged about having Babe Ruth’s rookie card.

He didn’t really have Babe Ruth’s rookie card, but it’s the same idea. If you bought yourself a Dale Earnhardt diecast back BEFORE he was the Elvis Presley of stock car racing, you’ve got a conversation starter right there, and serious bragging rights to boot.

We basically use NASCAR diecast 1 24 scale models to show our stripe. We use them to show support for our favorite drivers, and woe betide the guy who has your driver’s rival on display on his coffee table. That’s an argument just waiting to happen.

No matter what you’re into, there’s always the must have-memorabilia for any true fan. Movie buffs have their posters, comic book readers have their action figures, and Nascar fans have their diecast collectible cars. In the case of a legend like Dale Earnhardt, the diecast also serves as a commemoration of the life and times of the heroes of the sport who gave everything they had to the game.

The appeal is, to be honest, about the same for adults as it is for kids. It’s just cool having a 1:24 scale model of your favorite driver’s car on your desk. It’s also fun having something you can goof around and play with when your boss isn’t looking. If nothing else, it’s a way to brighten your spirits a bit in the middle of the daily grind.

Some people collect diecast cars thinking that they’ll be able to sell them all for about half a million dollars once they reach retirement age… Some diecast cars wind up becoming rare and valuable collector’s items, but most don’t (that’s why the rarities are called rarities). Truth is, hardcore Nascar diecast collectors collect them because they love diecast cars.

So to be clear, you’re probably not going to get rich off of your diecast car collection. If you’re a serious collector, you’re bound to snag a rarity sooner or later, but the truth is, since diecast cars are, well, diecast, that means that they’re durable and most will remain intact for decades to come, so the chances of a mass produced piece becoming rare is pretty slim. Still, the point is, you collect them because you like to, not because you feel you need to for your retirement account.

If you’re hoping to collect a “full set” of Nascar diecast cars, you’re probably expecting it to cost you somewhere in the area of an arm and a leg, and probably take you somewhere around the rest of your life to complete the collection.

Well, that could be what happens, unless you want to be realistic about it.

A “full set” of Nascar diecast cars is really for you to define. What would you consider a complete collection? Every single Nascar diecast ever produced? Ha, forget it! On the other hand, maybe you’re just after every winner of the Daytona 500, or maybe you want the full line of every Dale Earnhardt diecast ever produced. That’s a little more like it.

The trick to getting such a collection is pretty simple: Buy a lot of cars. Well, yeah, of course, but what we mean by this is that you should look for any opportunity to buy full sets of cars at a time.

Say you’re browsing eBay and you find someone selling that rare piece you’ve been looking for, but they’re selling it in a lot with about five or six other cars. Go ahead and bid on it. When your package arrives, take the Nascar diecast cars you’re not interested in keeping, and resell them. Simple as that.

If you’re something of an economic genius, you can even turn your collection into a financially self-sustaining hobby with the inexpensive investment of a single purchase. Say you buy a lot of cars at a discount, resell each one you don’t want individual, and there you go, you’ve made enough cash to buy another lot. Keep doing that every time you see a lot with a piece you’re missing, and sooner or later you’ve got a full set at little to no actual cost to yourself. Heck you might even make a profit.

In fact, that’s how a lot of collectors get started: In retail. Comic books, for instance. Someone who runs a bookstore or a comic shop has their pick of the litter, so they keep a copy of anything that might be valuable someday, and before long, they’ve got an impressive collection as a by-product of running a successful business.

Of course, this is just one method of collecting. The fun of being a collector is in doing it your own way. Maybe you’d rather just buy each car individually, or maybe you’d prefer to just browse hobby shops and flea markets and see what catches your eye. It’s your collection and it’s your dime, so collect however you like.

It seemed like an innocent little tap from behind, but that little tap gave Joey Logano the ride of his life, that I call the Roll over in Dover. To watch that horrific crash and then to see Joey Logano walk away from the scene without a scratch was simply amazing. I lost count but I’m sure that Joey’s car rolled down the track at least a dozen times. If this isn’t a great testimony of how much engineering for safety went into the design of the new race car “The Car of Tomorrow”, I don’t know what is.

It wasn’t that many years ago that the chances of NOT walking away from a horrific crash like this were very high. In fact, I’m fairly sure there would have been an air ambulance ride for the driver. Joey Logano is a lucky man because the Car of Tomorrow is here today.

There are a few drivers from last years’ season that are counting their lucky stars that NASCAR decided to move up the mandatory switch to the car of tomorrow by one year, from 2009 to 2008. There was the terrible crash with Sam Hornish and Jeff Gordon at Watkins Glen, the unbelievable wreck of Michael McDowell while qualifying in Texas and how can you forget David Gilliland and Bobby Labonte at Watkins Glen. I still get the chills just thinking about those wrecks, but the new race car design sure came through.

Four of the main improvements are; the drivers’ compartment which was enlarged by increasing the roof height by 2 1/2 inches and moving the driver about 4 1/2 inches closer to the center of the car, they added double frame rail with steel plating to cover the door bars on the drivers’ side, they added energy absorbing materials between the door panels and the roll cage to calm the energy of an impact, and they also improved the fuel cell by making the bladder stronger, the container thicker with a safer check valve and energy absorbing material around the fuel cell. Let’s not forget the great HANS device (Head and Neck Support device) that was added. These are new safety features that come with the new car of tomorrow. There are also devices that were put in place earlier that are still used today. Remember way back when the race car would go into a high speed spin and the car would lift into the air and flip over; well, they fixed that by adding roof flaps, which open if the car spins at high speed. By having the flaps open the air escapes through them and eliminating lift, keeping the car on the ground. Furthermore, they are still using restrictor plates to keep speeds to less than 200 mph on the high banked tracks (Daytona and Talladega).

Anyway I’m sure that Joey Logano will never forget the Roll over in Dover. And I’m glad he walked away from the accident because he is going to become a great driver who will be around for a long time.

Nascar Nextel Cup racing is no longer watchable. This auto sport has gone from a great exciting growing sport where you couldn’t wait for Saturday night or Sunday afternoon for the race to start to the same ole boring race, week after week. And if you think that I’m the only one that thinks that this sport has gone down hill over the last few years…just look at all the empty seats every week at the tracks. Even the Bristol race that sells out year after year in both the spring race and night race, had a lot of empty seats at their spring race back on March 21st.

The only races that were worth watching any more for me was Daytona, Talladega and Bristol. But Nascar has figured out away to ruin those races. They opened up the restrictor plate 1/64 of an inch at Daytona this year, and everyone was saying that now the cars have more throttle response and that it would make for more exciting racing. (REALLY) To me, this years Daytona 500 was the worst 500 I’ve ever seen. One of the reasons that race has been so good in the past is that they always ran in a pack for the whole race. That wasn’t the case this year. And then the Bristol race that is supposed to be a beating and banging 1/2 mile cereal bowl once again did not live up to those expectations. All the other races on the circuit are for the most part 1 1/2 mile tracks that are configured pretty much the same and are very boring and unwatchable.

Until Nascar goes back to the way it was, not mandating everything and build the cars to where they look like cars that we drive on the street (stock), I for one am not watching nor will I be spending my hard earned money for race tickets ever again. After all NASCAR stands for (National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing).

During these times, only one other thing besides an actual NASCAR race can make you feel complete: Arizona NASCAR memorabilia.

How to Obtain Arizona NASCAR Memorabilia
With Arizona NASCAR memorabilia, you’ve got something concrete on your hands that can instantly make you travel back time and relive those glorious moments of unforgettable NASCAR races.

This type of memorabilia can be acquired by various ways. Firstly, you can purchase them outright from well-established stores and shops that sell sports memorabilia of all sorts. You can also purchase them from sports enthusiasts like yourself. These are often sold or auctioned off in various websites, forums, and online shops as well. And lastly, Arizona NASCAR memorabilia can be purchased by plain old working: finding a way to reach your favorite NASCAR driver and having him sign whatever it is you want to serve as your memorabilia.

If you wish to make your own autographed memorabilia, you can do this either by watching any of the races live and hope that you get close enough to your favorite NASCAR star or you can just tune in to the news and find out which places are considered hot by the NASCAR elites.

Types of Arizona NASCAR Memorabilia
NASCAR memorabilia can be any object possessing an authentic signature of any famous NASCAR driver. The term is also used to refer to products that bear the NASCAR logo such as checkbook covers, key chains, collectible coins, pins, die cast products, plaques, figurines and bobbleheads, refrigerator magnets, trading cards, street signs, wall graphics, stuffed toys, wallets, tankards, and money clips.

Tips for Purchasing Autographed Arizona NASCAR Memorabilia Online

Avoid purchasing anything that you can’t see firsthand. If this however proves unavoidable, always ask for a warranty wherein you can return the object for a 100% refund as long as no damage has been made to the object.

Always check the condition of the memorabilia thoroughly before paying anything.

As this is an autographed Arizona NASCAR memorabilia, make sure that it carries along a certificate of authenticity to provide evidence that the signature is indeed real and original.

Don’t buy the first thing you see. Browse around slowly and patiently to ensure that you’re paying the lowest price possible for the memorabilia. Bargain as much as you can.

Always check the feedback provided by other clients or buyers for a particular seller. This will give you an idea of what to expect from the seller, but remember to take every word with a grain of salt as well lest you become too affected.

Don’t reveal anything beyond what you know you need to like your shipping details. If you are paying by credit card, make sure that the payment handler is secure and accredited.

Double check the details of your transaction prior to the date of payment and delivery. Know when the expected date for you to receive your memorabilia is and what concessions the seller is prepared to make for delayed shipping.

Arizona NASCAR memorabilia always make a wonderful collection, but if you’re not interested in starting one, they can always serve an excellent gift for any soccer enthusiast you know!

He is a native of South Boston, Virginia. Jeff Burton, sometimes referred to as ‘JB’, currently He drives the #31 Cingular Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing. He also races part-time in the Busch Series. Jeff Burton is the younger brother of Ward Burton, who is a fellow Sprint Cup driver. Married to Kim Burton, they have two children, Paige and Harrison. He ran his first Winston Cup race in 1993 in the #0 TIC Financial Ford for Fil Martocci. 1994 was Burton’s rookie year in the Winston Cup Series. He drove the #8 Raybestos Ford for Stavola Brothers Racing. He had a season-high fourth place finish on the way to earning 1994 NASCAR Rookie of the Year.

Next year, in 1995, Burton had one top-five, along with a ninth place finish. He also missed three races and finished 32nd in points. In 1996, Jeff Burton left the Stavola Brothers for Roush Racing. Driving the #99 Exide Batteries Ford for his new team, he finished 13th overall in the season standings. His career hit a peak from 1997 to 2000, as he never finished lower than 5th in the points standings.

He achieved his first career win in 1997, finishing first in the Interstate Batteries 500 at Texas Motor Speedway (the inaugural NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway), and would go on to win 14 more races during the four-year run. In 1999, Burton won a career-high and series-leading six races. His best points finish was in 2000, when he finished 3rd, 294 points behind champion Bobby Labonte . The following year, in 2001, Burton won another two races, upping his career total to 17, as he finished tenth in points.

In 2002 and 2003, he finished 12th and combined for 8 top-5s and 25 top-10s, but failed to win a race in either year. 2005 was a bit of a struggle for Burton. While many people expected him to end the win drought, it did not happen. In 2006 he broke a 175-race winless streak dating back to October 28, 2001. In 2007 Jeff Burton also won NASCAR person of the year award

John Edward Burton III also known as Ward Burton (born October 25, 1961) is an American NASCAR auto racer, who has a total of five career Sprint Cup wins. He last drove the #4 State Water Heaters Chevrolet Impala SS for Morgan-McClure Motorsports in 2007. He is the older brother of fellow NASCAR driver Jeff Burton, whom he first competed against at their local short track, South Boston Speedway.

Burton began his NASCAR Busch Series career in the 1990 season and competed full-time for four seasons. Burton moved up to Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) in 1994. He ran 26 of 31 races in the #31 Hardee’s Chevy for Alan Dillard, Jr., winning his first career pole at Charlotte Motor Speedway and finishing thirty-fifth in standings. Caterpillar became the new primary sponsor for the car in 1999, where he picked up a ninth-place points finish. In 2002 he began the season by winning the prestigious Daytona 500. In 2004 Burton raced Haas CNC Racing’s NetZero HiSpeed #0 car to 3 Top 10 finishes, but was released from the team with two races left in the season. He spent the next two seasons unemployed.

He returned to the SPRINT Cup series late in the 2006 season, driving the #4 Lucas Oil Chevrolet for Morgan-McClure Motorsports. On December 12, 2006 Ward signed with Morgan-McClure Motorsports to drive the #4 car full-time in 2007. In 2007, Ward’s performance was lackluster, with not a single top ten finish recorded. On November 12, 2007, he was released from Morgan-Mcclure Motorsports so that the team could “evaluate performance”. Morgan-McClure closed up shop shortly afterward. It is rumoured that he will not return to Sprint Cup racing.

The Homestead-Miami Speedway is a beautiful speedway located in a fun getaway city. NASCAR fans have some pretty definite opinions and I would love to showcase them for you. So, build a lens on who you love (or on who you hate, but don’t get evil about), or how you started as a fan, or on something NASCAR related. NASCAR moved the season-ending races to the track two years ago, and last year, new rules created more intense competition for the final races. Officials are adding 16 suites at the track that are to be completed in time for the November race.

Homestead-Miami Speedway officially opened in November 1995 with a NASCAR Busch Series race and in the spring of 1996, the CART series held its first race there.

Homestead-Miami Speedway is a tough track for veterans much less raw rookies. There is no tolerance for error at this superb track. Homestead-Miami Speedway is studying the possibility of installing lights and moving the Nextel Cup season finale to Sunday evening, the track’s general manager said recently in interviews. Curtis Gray, in New York for the championship banquet, said representatives from Musco Lighting were at the speedway recently preparing a preliminary proposal.

NASCAR moved the season-ending races to the track two years ago, and last year, new rules created more intense competition for the final races. Officials are adding 16 suites at the track that are to be completed in time for the November race. Mr. NASCAR is one of the fastest growing spectator sports in America with 75 million fans that tune in or show up every weekend to watch their favorite drivers battle it out. NASCAR’s Nextel Cup Series season finale continues to be a hot ticket. Homestead-Miami Speedway officials say the Ford 400 has sold out, nearly five months before the Nov.

Drivers find 20 degree variable banking in the turns and an ample garage area. The facility includes 65,000 grandstand seats, a number of garage suites, 750 television monitors, etc.

Homestead-Miami Speedway also has raised grandstands that help provide superior sight lines for those holding tickets. All in all, it’s a great place to watch great racing. Homestead-Miami sits on 600 acres of land, holds 65,000 people, and has seen a number of exciting finishes since it opened, especially since it was renovated in 1997 and then again in 2003. As part of the 2003 renovation, lights were installed, meaning night racing was now an option.

Track president Curtis Gray said as many as 4,400 seats could be added in Turn 4 for the Ford 400. Under our old configuration, I don’t think NASCAR would have continued to end the season here.”. The race will mark the fourth consecutive sellout since Homestead was reconfigured in 2003 with variable banking, which has been hailed by drivers for promoting more side-by-side racing. Track reentry passes are available. Binoculars, cameras, and headsets (worn around the neck) are allowed, as are seat cushions.
